Dr Johanna Ludwig's passion for breaking boundaries between traditional medical practice and the dynamic world of innovation became apparent early on when she developed an award-winning e-learning programme that pioneered new ways of learning about congenital heart defects. Female speaker Johanna Ludwirg's curiosity and drive to challenge existing systems drove her to found a startup that aimed to unite learning, community and fun in medical education - an initiative that was honoured with the Berlin-Brandenburg Businessplan Canvas Award.

Her commitment goes beyond medical practice: as co-author of the book ‘Wege aus der Klinik - Karrieren abseits des Krankenbetts’ (Ways out of the clinic - careers away from the hospital bed), she inspires courageous career decisions. At the same time, as a consultant and member of various expert committees, she is committed to the integration of digital solutions into healthcare, with the aim of both improving patient care and relieving the burden on medical professionals.

She has developed an interdisciplinary social game for medical professionals: Asystole. The game not only helps with the mindless memorisation of medical terms, but also promotes social interaction in a humorous way while learning together.
